Nothing will happen anytime soon, sadly. Congress is show moving when it comes to important legislation and when it comes to trivial BS, they're all over it like the world ends tomorrow.

Amen to that! We do not give a #### about the BS the argue, we need to bring back the factories, jobs and put people back to work! That's what I care about! How about building some decent rest areas with accommodations and good food!

Can anyone tell me is the securement class in Houston is helpful. What should I expect! Decided to go with LST first week in November.

It depends on if they get any loads on the yard. When I went through, I barely skated because loads were pretty scarce. But yes, Bill and Joe Mac will show you the basics with whatever they have.

Well, I'm in a hotel in Wichita at the moment. Went in for routine PM and they found a crack in my exhaust so they had to order the part. Hoping to be out tomorrow around lunch time.

Best way to know is call. They really don't do much locally up there though. A lot of the local stuff is by the ports near Houston.

Most of those are 4 axle trucks for heavy haul. They go all over as well, not just local.

They only have 2 local DFW units. Some days they work, others they don't do much. They do alot of the forklift yard work with relocating towers onto trailers to be towed out and stacking outbound trailers too. I would think one of those 2 guys would have to die to get those positions. I met them both though once when I was in.. both really nice.

I tendered my resignation today and it was accepted. I'll officially be a fuel hauler next week in a local capacity. 12 hour midnights, 6 on 2 off to start off. sucks.. but at least i'll be home daily.
