One exit east from the Flying J is two other truck stops. Quiktrip and a Sinclair.

If 100 miles into Canada. The place they offload at is in the middle of nowhere. I brought up 8 cable spools.

Loaded out of Milton, ON to offload in Champion, MI on Monday. I'm in Marquette, MI right now. First time in the Upper Peninsula and it's gorgeous scenery up here. These tolls are ridiculous too. I've spent nearly $100 just in tolls since leaving the US on Thursday.

The customs issue just sucks now because I have to spend $50 for the local authorities in New Orleans to correct something they screwed up. It's absolutely absurd. I'm taking care of that as soon as I get home next week.

Preplan picks up in Franklin, WI just west of Milwaukee and delivers in Allen, TX on Wednesday.

Only reason I went to flying j was because I needed to wash clothes and I had a shower credit on my card.

Well, after sitting last night in Tulsa I found out this morning I was supposed to get the trailer from the Tulsa yard, NOT the customer haha. No one was there this morning so I call dispatch and they tell me "oh crap, it's at the Tulsa yard, go there" haha. None of my messages said anything about the Tulsa yard. Oh well, loaded up and taking my time getting to Indianapolis. Only about 400 miles to go tomorrow for a delivery Monday morning. Stopped for the night here at this Walmart that had a lot of other trucks parked here, so I joined the group. Did some shopping, now that I have a fridge in my truck I can save money on food.

I was spending $200+ a week on food at the truck stops every day. Just spent $113 on enough stuff to last me a good 9-12 days. Pretty happy about that.

I guess so. They told me it had been sold.

I'm thinking its because of all the issues I was having with it.

The city horn died, the fuel gauge quit working, then my A/C wasn't working anymore. It would blow hot air if it was above 80 or 90 degrees.

Yeah I heard a rumor about 2 weeks ago there were 150 on order.. somone else told me they heard 50... but in any case their starting to cycle the older ones out. I'm pretty sure mine was due up for a swap as well before I got out of it, just hadn't heard anything yet.

Well, my new truck has 702 miles on it and now I'm going to the kenworth dealer tomorrow morning to get it checked out. I think it's the fuel issue with the ISX that I've read about in here.

When pulling hills it acts like I cut fuel to the engine, it just slows down. Then all of a sudden it will pick back up and accelerate, then it'll do it again. If I'm accelerating on an on ramp it bucks and jerks. I was supposed to deliver tomorrow, that ain't gonna happen now.

Ain't no telling what's wrong. Oh and I only have 9,200lbs on the trailer!

Fuel pump is going out on the truck, so I'm headed to the hotel. Truck might not be fixed until tomorrow or even the next day
