Hope it doesn't die, might go into hibernation from time to time though. Anyway, quick update, delivered in Galena Park this am after having to sit for ten hours at caterpillar yesterday..got a preplan that I was going to be needing an extendable trailer and taking some long drill casing to Alabama, well that cancelled as a storm is heading that way apparently. Got a new load 20 mins later, going back to Canada, Edmonton again, another couple thousand miles is fine with me but would have liked the oversize for a switch. Plus they're talking about snow in Wyoming and parts of CO and MT later this week, great.

Hey azs, hows the miles over there...are they for the most part pretty consistent at keeping you rolling as long as you have hours?...
-
they keep you rolling even if you don't have hours, they'll just give you a load that has extra time on it, also good about trying to get you resets over the weekends as well. As for miles, they're great right now but you know how it goes can be unpredictable but they will give you some long deadheads to get you a load as opposed to waiting for one. They're very good about that. I usually average 3k a week.

I heard Monday that we had Alaska loads coming out of Laredo. I was a bit skeptical about that. Appears I shouldn't have been. Swapping trailers tomorrow with another driver after I deliver in Lubbock going to Anchorage. Going to shoot to deliver next Friday.
Weeble Kneeble and wulfman75 Thank this. -

I do hate tarping, on top of that I hate tarping when I can't cover everything

LOL.. it's funny how lives change when you were on the road single, then meet someone and your life turns upside down. My girl was a very small reason and school a major factor for me coming off the road so it was a little backwards for me.
And, I hope this thread don't die. I'm still around and read every update. I know every one of these guys that post on here regularly, except speedemon.. he left before I could meet him... so I like to read whats going on with the company and what their all hauling, personally. I'm still a lonestar-ite at heart and would probably go back if my local job failed on me.. but at this point its going well and i'm making just as much as I was at lonestar.REDBEAN, djtrype and DrtyDiesel Thank this. -
Now why would anybody want to meet me. I'm just a trashy truck driver, lol.
