I'm in Stratford, TX was supposed to unload first thing Monday in Hutchinson, KS but my KS permit has the wrong dates on it so need to wait for a correct one, should still get this off tomorrow but first thing is out the door now needless to say. Don't think I have a preplan anyway so not a big deal.

Guessing no one made it to the driver appreciation? everyone I know wasn't in the area.

Hometime is easy to work around to get 5 days. Just put in for wed/thurs/fri off and you'll have 5 days coming back out that following monday. Their hometime policy is indeed crap.. I stayed out 10 weeks just after christmas to cover the expenses a bit and in mid march I was still limited to 5 days MAX for my birthday. That policy was the ONE single thing I disliked about the company.. but that was all.

I made it but there wasn't a great turnout like last year because all of the wind project guys were coming back to Gainesville. There was maybe 20 drivers there. I think with the cancellation of the original event a lot of guys just planned other things and/or were out of the area. Food was really good as like last year.

Same here, the home time policy is the only thing I dislike about working here.

Did lonestar get any new pete 389"s or just new no hood areo trucks? And are they going to all no hoods or still going to use the 379 and 389"s

All the new trucks are KW T660s. I do believe they're retiring all the 3-axle 379s. It appears Tex is moving away from the long nose Petes all together.

Yeah what dj said, I think the three axle new trucks are hoods, just not 379's. They have a slight slope, still good trucks though

That second message didn't clear up what the first message tried to convey.
