Got the aluminum off in Hidalgo, now waiting at the Pharr yard as I assume that would be next. Forklift guy says they got some Baltimore loads so we'll see.

Just emptied out in Corpus Christi at the port. For lucky, they didn't charge me anything for a twic escort. I was in and out in 20 minutes.

Now just waiting for a load

I'll get a load of only one small 500lbs crate, I'll use a bulkhead, 10 straps and 5 chains

I just started last week. So far it's slow, but picking up. Last week I ran 1400 miles, this week I'll have over 2,000. I delivered this morning and got a run from Texas to Maryland. BUT, it was a holiday weekend or I would have had more miles last weeks and this week.

I love it so far here, my dispatchers awesome and I'm lucky enough to get a long nose Pete.

They are getting rid of them though, they're replacing them with Pete 386's and kw t660's. the new trucks have refrigerators, inverters, and APU's. my 379 doesn't have anything but a 3,000 watt inverter. If you get an old Pete like mine you can idle, I idled from Saturday till today and I'll idle tonight. They care about driver comfort.

Also, I've always wanted to drive a long nose Pete since I was a little kid, and i gotta tell you, it's EVERYTHING I thought it would be. Rides like a dream, handles well, but backing is a lot different lol. You get used to it though.

I'm seriously thinking of buying a long nose Pete and leasing it onto lonestar once they take this one from me.

They sound like a really.good.company, I just don't know how I feel about staying out that long, oh well might as well do it now.while.I'm still young and.single.

Oh and sorry about they typos, I'm on my phone...little buttons and big hands haha

I hear ya bro, I still do it from time to time on my phone haha.

But yeah, I'll have hood fever again when they give me an aero hood, I'll just be saving up my money and then buy my own truck. So far I've been treated very well. No complaints what so ever

And as far as the home time, it does suck, but you will make more money. I'm young, no kids, and single, that's one main reason I'm out here. I'm also supporting my big brother who's unemployed. I make more money here than I ever did on a local job I was doing, that's for sure
