So is this six hour average wait after I delivered to get another load or being told to blindly head towards a general area a normal thing here? From the outside it seems like a lot of disorganization and one doesn't know what the other is doing kind of thing.

Not common at all. What it is, they're likely trying to figure out how you run. Is your dispatcher Ryan by any chance?

Majority of the time I'm preplanned a day or two after I load

Nope Sara. Yesterday for example I delivered a day early, empty at 10 was told to park somewhere and at 6pm i was told to head towards Texas. Just not used to it.

You're in some bad spots for freight sounds like, they usually try to find something for you until the end of the day and then you're told to head somewhere, they don't haul cheap freight here so that's another aspect. She's telling you the truth when she says she doesn't know, she only knows what the planners tell her.

Picked up my blade this morning, made it here to the middlw of a cornfield and hopefully we will be getting empty in tomorrow sometime. But wont know for sure until tomorrow morning. If not, then we'll sit until Monday.

Diesel dog how long have you been with lone star? How much flatbed experience did you have prior to going over there? How long did it take for you to start hauling blades? Just curious. Looks like it would be something I would like to do one day. Thanks for response
