    Since you're in debt, may have to dip into the 401K.
    If that's the case, just do it and attend private cdl school.
    Then sign up with a coast to coast outfit.
    ~
    Plenty to choose from at that point that do west coast runs.

    Before reading anyone else's posts, my first & foremost instinctive answer was... Do NOT touch your 401K. This is coming from an old, wise... been there done that. I don't care if its a fool proof no brainer... do NOT touch your 401K.

    A few options, look into what the state has for job training assistance, for hey may have some funds to help cover the cost of the school. Look into what the local community colleges may have. They may have a Nights/weekends program.
