    What stretch of US interstate gets the prize for the longest stretch of remote nothingness? I'm giving the nod to I-40 in-between Barstow and Needles, CA.

    That ones up there, but my nod goes to I-10 from El Paso to San Antonio. I-10 to I-20 from El Paso to FWD is up there too. Up in Maine, the "airport road", aka Moose path, Route 9 from Bangor to Calais is a long stretch of not much, especially in the winter...

    Last I checked I-10 is an Interstate, LOL. Ever been to ME? I-95 is the only one there, lots of moose paths though. Ever run from Calais on 1 up to Madawaska in the winter?
