longest wait time at a shipper/ consignee

it hardly seems fair to mention meat plants everyone waits at meat plants all 4 of my resets since i started in march have been at meat plants in dodge city ks, liberal ks, marshalltown iowa and schulyer ne
but i get out of the truck and get a room

 

Got my 10 hr break at Ryerson in Portland, OR. Never know how long it will take to get unloaded there. Sometimes wait all day, sometime go right in.

 

I can't beet a few others on here for the longest but how about 2 days of 8 hours or more of detention in 4 days.

I was detain on Monday for 16 hours, paid for 8 and detained again today at another shipper for 8 hours already I'll be paid for. $480 in detention within 4 days. I'd rather be moving down the road.

 

i want a job where i get pd detention just another question i didn't know to ask back in jan

 

longest I waited was 4 hours at Woodbury auto in the bronx. I know that seems nothing for a trucking company but for LTL thats quite a bit. Also at Krasdale foods in Bronx I hve waited 5 hours for them to sort the skids...
