Thank you well you did not miss much if you did not watch the full video. To summarize it he got 3-4 speeding tickets going by the scales ticket. He also was driving the truck one time with no trailer brakes at all claims that the DOT can find anything wrong with the truck if they look hard enough that the Company Gives bad equipment to him.

More than likely some stunt man trying to make a name for himself or a comedian trying to make a name for himself . It reminds my of that Homer Simpson Cartoon episode when Homey is tasked with driving a big rig and learns the secret that trucks have an auto pilot great cartoon very funny a much watch for all.

I just lost what little brain cells I had left trying to get thru the first 10 minutes of this slop. The only thing I partially agree with is the opening... 75% (try 95% IMHO) of all goods are carried by truck

Well he's right about that. DOT can find something wrong with your truck if they want to. They might have to come up with something stupid, but they can always come up with some BS equipment violation if they want to. But that's nothing new, really. Some guys like to tell stories and give the impression that the DOT are like vultures circling their already doomed prey lol. Most DOT really aren't like that. They're just regular folks doing their job who want to go home at the end of the day just like you. Do your job right, be courteous and respectful, and you pretty much have nothing to worry about. But like I said before, always use a dashcam. You never know if you might catch that one trooper having a bad day or the one who just has it out for truckers.

DOT has plenty of totally legit citations and violations to hand out without having to make up stuff for someone who's playing by the rules. Seriously, try going the speed limit near Atlanta and count how many trucks pass you in a 5 minute period--not enough fingers or toes, I promise you. Check out how many threads and comments there are on here where drivers admitted they drove through such and such scales overweight or with their tandems too far back. You can't even count the number of people on here who openly admit to cheating their logs.

This guy caused most of his own problems by breaking about every rule he could think of, and in his case it didn't even seem to get him ahead. By the way, it's crazy stupid to post crap like that on Youtube. If he got involved in a fatal accident anytime around the date of his videos, even if it wasn't his fault, he'd probably be seeing some serious prison time if a lawyer found his vids. If you do something illegal, don't post it on the internet or at least post it anonymously.

Moral of the story: don't be like this fool.

Did he ever say how much per mile he made? It must be like 3 or 4 cpm . And wow he went 40 days with no shower, I use to bathe with freezeing cold bottles of water during deployments if I had been 3 days with no shower just to clean myself and feel good again best I could do. And he parks at places with showers and is to lazy to walk into the building and take a shower. I know some drivers are nasty and don’t bathe enough but I highly doubt they are going over a week at tops. This has to be fake or he is just worst driver ever to do a documentary on. Loved how he gets on and in his bunk with those dirty clothes too.. Wow bruh you sleep their have some respect for yourself..

Swifts started off like $.26CPM in 2007. @ 10 months in he should have been at $.28 or $.30 CPM. Be he had some prior truck experience so I would say he was probably @ $.30CPM. I suppose you could zoom in to the settlement he had, but I don't really care that much.

Taking all his fines out he would have made more bank working part-time at Burger King. But that was trucking at Swift back then.

Pig - and looks like he wore the same dirty shirt and socks day after day. But when your making bank at Swift....

No I think he is the real deal. At the time their were plenty of dudes at Swift just like this.

In 2007 this video would seem fresh as hell; Now their are a million truck driving you tubers.

Most people who put videos up on Youtube haven't been driving truck for very long, and/or aren't very good at it. The only legitimately good drivers (and good people) I've encountered on Youtube are Trucker Josh, J Canell and Dave from Smart Trucking.

I watch J Canell from time to time. I think that he is one of the more helpful ones and isn't the type that likes to hear himself think.

A lot of others on there don't know what they're doing or are self-obsessed, narcissistic, drama queens that like to hear themselves talk. They think that the trucking industry and YouTube revolves around them and that they actually have a say in it.

I'll have to check out the other two.
