Lookin for advice

That's a goal of many people, get own truck and get a dedicated run with good money and good home time. I doubt you would find something good right away, but you never know

 

Does Tyson foods hire owner ops? Or look for the trucks that go to the Tyson plants, I know Kllm hire owner ops and they run Tyson and it's supposed to be regional.

 

I am leased onto a mega carrier that no one likes but do manage a mid-west regional here and am home nearly every weekend. It can be done but remember a couple of things. If you do this, you will most likely gross less than an OTR O/O (but not always). Watch your overhead and make sure you can afford to run less than other folks.
