Well I've decided that I might be gettin back in a truck to make a living. I've done college and determined its not my thing. Did some custom harvesting driving truck and loved it but got too busy to continue. Started driving cement mixer and then took a job haulin poultry all over the midwest and south. I even moved it to Nashville (where I am now) to try my hand at music but my my desire to be working and my pocketbook can't handle this. That and I don't like living in the city.

Which leads me up to here. I'm young, don't have anything tying me down so i figured i might as well go earn some money and will probably be moving back to small town Kansas. So if anybody has any advice, tricks of the trade, or any helpful tips let me know. I'm open ears. Thanks to y'all in advance.

    Dan

Well, back to Kansas, back to paying personal income taxes. There's some good trucking companies in Nashville to work for such as Howard Baer & a few others. Kansas is good too; check foodliner website for terminals all over Kansas. National Carriers is a good reefer company also.

Any action down on Printers Row? It used to be great, but started dying.

    Best wishes in your future.

    Thank ya.

Havent frequented printers row much to be honest. Last time I was down there it was a bit dead but not too bad. Better then it being elbow to elbow downtown sometimes.

I'm lookin at some flatbed outfits in Kansas. My hometown has a Georgia Pacific and they run a lot of TMC, Keim, and a few other flatbed and bulk truck companies out of there. Figured if I got on with one of those I might get a chance to be home more.

I've delivered dry bulk & liquid to different places in KS. The reason I mentioned Foodliner, is they have 3 tanker divisions and many Midwestern terminals. I've hauled chemicals to Georgia Pacific in different parts of the country. They use chemicals in their wood processing. Well, take care.
