Thank you so much. This is excellent advise.
I do wonder if they still have that lever? I know the pressure applied gauge is there in a Cascadia.
Looks like I'll find out real quick, how good my new company is. That is with the important things. They will train me in the yard for a week. I don't think it takes a week to learn how to operate a pneumatic trailer. Then, I start on the road with that trainer. Only go on my own when I say so. That's what my Terminal Manager told me.
So I'll see. I'll ask about this. I imagine. They do runs into Wyoming. You need to be really good on ice if you run Wyoming. (they don't plow their roads!) They should know what they're doing. I may do some of these things myself....(ie the paint and spot mirror). Am confident, at the very least, they'll let me do it.

I haven't had a cigarette since 98. Smoke little cigars. Don't inhale. It still affects me. Even though it is a tiny percentage of what cigarettes and inhaling do.
I have run marathons without quitting smoking. I only just recently found out the biggest reason. I felt awful anyways. All the pesticides, drugs in meat, and gmo, and junk. I felt awful anyways. Smoked to numb the bad feeling of my body fighting all that. Now? I'm set up high to quit. Anyday now.... any day...
I am truly looking forward to this being the best years of my life.

The rockies made me quit. When you are at 11000 or 13000 or whatever and your blood oxygen saturation starts falling enough to threaten your core functions in the torso it's a REAL problem.

I live down here where the land is not much higher than 300 feet above sea level partly because I prefer the dense air and can maintain adequate oxygen on room air. There are people in the building who smoke and if they don't watch it, they are going to be evicted. I don't have anything against smoking at all. I can remember buying smokes back in school in Maryland at 1.30 or so a pack for Malboros and I think they are around 7.60 today here in Arkansas. I could not afford to anyway.

I know one #### thing.. if I ever get sick Im going to enjoy some smokes on my way out. No one is going to sit there in a doctors coat and tell me it's bad for me when something lethal is going to kill me HA....

I was a 3-pack a day cigarette smoker and finally quit cold turkey.
Mostly smoked Winstons, but did do the Pall Mall & Picayune for awhile.

Bought some Players in Portsmouth,England and they were about the best smokes I ever tried. Some foreign ports sold them and a few specialty shops in the USA. Could get them in round cans or the regular pack. I'd get both, cans and packs.

A way to really get the doctors worried when you have that last smoke is to stick a long needle inside the cigarette; it drives people crazy waiting for the ash to fall. It won't fall because it's stuck to the needle.

I honestly have gotten nutrition so straightened out. I'm feeling so good. Smoking is only dowside, from any point of view. I appreciate the humor on smoking and all. I can understand. Gee... right now? I even am enjoying my mineral water more than coffee.
If I keep talking like this. I'll quit right now. Doh!

I enjoy a good cigar from time to time. When money is tight I’ll chew. Never got into cigarettes.

    x1Heavy and WesternPlains Thank this.

Save your money for a good cigar. Don't chew if at all possible.

The dentist will show you billing for thousands upon thousands fighting oral cancer and other problems that result from chewing. You can consider that can of chew a step closer to big billing.

A good cigar is a pleasure. But considering the possibilities I try to keep that not so often and usually with a shot of something good to go with it. I cannot recall the last one, they do not have too many shops here in this state.

It's a encouragement to you to avoid the chewing if at all possible. You wont believe the damage that is possible someday when you need that teeth most.
