About the hair... this is what I read...
"How much hair is needed to perform the drug test?
Quest Diagnostics standard screen usually requires a cosmetically undetectable lock of hair preferably snipped from the back of the head, just below the crown. In general, the amount needed equates to a single row of hairs approximately one (1) centimeter wide."

"How much hair is needed for a drug test?
The amount of hair needed for a hair drug test is approximately 100 milligrams made up of the first 1-½ inches from the root end.
if the hair is more than four inches long, the laboratory requires approximately 120 strands. If placed in a bundle this quantity of hair would resemble the circumference of a pencil; or if laid flat, would be approximately 1 centimeter in width. "

If you are worried about a drug test, or worried about exercising moving a little freight once in a while, follow your screen name. Haul rocks for a living. Problem solved.

    LOL... :biggrin_25523:

Not worried about drug test... don't want to have my beautiful long hair cut... that's it.
I want 100% not touch freight, absolutely... too old to be moving heavy stuff... did that a lot when I was young.... maybe that was my mistake.....
Anyway... there are many companies that advertise 100% no touch freight. Including Crete...
Some however, require driver to lift 50lbs off the ground regardless of being 100% no touch.... :biggrin_1square1:
My former company was one of those... I used to be able to lift much more despite of being a skinny petite woman with little muscles. But not any more... Better take care of what I still have or may end up in a much worse situation.
My nickname here has nothing to do with my looks.... but the reason for it is a "secret"....

BTW... visited Crete terminal in Marietta, GA today and had lovely conversation with terminal manager... Then, went to the clinic they use for the drug test and spoke with guy who cuts the hair for the test... He seems much nicer than the one in the Lenoir City, TN and said it would not be necessary to get 3 chunks of hair. One small one would suffice for sure. :)

I would like to think they could a little off in a way you would never notice unlike the butcher job on the pic that was posted.

They will only cut what they need and they’ll do it where it’s not even noticeable whatsoever…who ever done that in that picture certainly not was egregious in cutting that much..
