Keep us posted on how things go. I just got my mine going. Factors in some time to get everything… the FMCSA site has a ton of stuff to help. Paper work seems like a lot, but set things up in the beginning and it’s not so bad

I'm going to pay atbs to handle my business end. Then to start off I'm going to try and find s service that makes sure I pass the initial safety audit. There used to be a few out there. But I have not found any lately.

Insurance on me should be in the 9k or under range. I can deal with that. It is only about 7 using the authority I use now.
I'm trying to fix a couple issues on my truck so I can sell it while prices are real high. I could use that profit ho leader s new truck. That saves cash on repairs and income taxes.
My 2017 5u9 should bring in 130 k or so I would think. Arrow is asking 165k for a 19 with more miles on it. I paid them 64500 for mine last year.

You/(actually a carrier taking you on) might get hit not on your log books only. Your maintenance etc. Your pick of a bad broker to begin with.
You ask to deduct money from the loads then say they are keeping your money. I see a bigger issue here.

I think I did not explain this properly.
Any way it is fixed. Still owed done money but everything is okay at this time.
But what I do is pay 10% of my load pay to a company for operating under their authority. I also pay insurance as I use their cargo insurance.
That is not a bad deal. But I could use that extra cash so getting my own authority.
I make about 5 to 6k a week so that 10% is a decent amount.
Sure it will get she up by a but higher insurance and paying a AT BS to deal with all my business paper work , billing etc. But still worth doing.
