Looking for a change, need advise

Looking to make a change. I currently own one class 8 dump truck, that I will be parking after 10 years.
I have a class B license. I will be looking into getting a class A. I used to drive otr years ago and have no verifiable experience. With the ecomomy on the brink, I need to make a change to make money to pay my bills. A friend of mine ran hot shot in Louisiana until our President decided to kill thousands of jobs with his Moratorium on oil drilling. My friend came back to Ohio. I was thinking about going down there with him.
I am looking for advise. I have a pick up for hot shot. I would drive anything other than a class 8 simi. I never want to live in a truck again.
I keep hearing about Panther, here in Ohio. I would like to drive Oct-Mar down south and Apr-Sept in Ohio in my own dump truck.
