sorry if posted in wrong section. I've been driving 19 years and looking for a company that pays good and cares about employee's wellbeing. I have no accidents, no tickets and I have hazmat/tanker endorsement. I prefer 65-70 cpm,2500 3000 miles a week, no camera facing me, rider program, prefer a manual but can drive auto. Volvo 720 or 820 preferably. I want all the miles I run paid, (hub miles) and detention/layover pay. health, vision are not neccessary but definitely a bonus. thanks

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

@mtclex --
It's tough to make worthwhile recommendations without knowing something about where you are.....
Nearest city/state?
Also: how long are you willing/able to stay out?
--Lual -
I live in Cleveland, Ohio and yes I’m able to stay out.

Cleveland, Ohio?
For a road warrior like you.....you might like things over at Barr-Nunn Transportation.
Check it out....this is a program available to drivers in the Cleveland, OH area:
Solo OTR Truck Driver Job - $105k-$110k | 11-Day North | Barr-Nunn (barr-nunntruckingjobs.com)
Drive with them for at least a year.....then do a thread here telling us what things were (are?) like........
Disclosure/disclaimer: I don't drive for Barr-Nunn, have never driven for Barr-Nunn, have no friends/relatives there....or any business dealings with them.....I do hazmat tanker duty, elsewhere.
--Lual -
Two strikes, based upon his post: BarR-Nunn has an all-auto fleet, and they pay practical (not hub) miles.
I can't even offer a position that meets these demands, as we don't pay hub miles, either (also an auto fleet). -
He says he can do an automatic.....???
--Lual -
Prefers manual, but can do auto (if all the other conditions are met).
Some people think that practical miles cut 10-20% off the total. We ran the numbers on our lanes and found it to be less than 1.5% off, but the stigma is still there. -
USA Truck has a good program. Can take the wife.
