This seems to be a better pared down list, but I'm still open to adjustments. Abilene Would be higher on the list if it were not for the driver facing cam.

    1 Superior Tankers
    2 Tidewater Transit
    3 Magnum Ltd
    4 Watkins Shepard
    5 Schneider Bulk
    6 Abilene Motor Express
    7 May Trucking
    8 West Side Transport
    9 Averitt Express
    10 Earl Henderson

For a mega they're not that bad, much better than CR England. I know they used to have a "casual driver" program where you could drive a week and take a week off. That's why I thought you might want to at least check them out. Best of luck to you.

Knight wasn't even on my radar, what are your thoughts "Chinatown"?

    Your new list looks ok.
Knight is probably ok, but if I went there would ask for dry van coast to coast.
You're still better off with tankers for the real money.

Do you know of M.C. Tank Transport?

I just ran across an add for them.

    Please let me know.

    We're discussing Knight; correct?

Less waiting times at shippers and receivers. Won't see grocery warehouses nearly as often as with refrigerated trailers. I've talked to several Knight dry van drivers and they all were happy with the company. The last one I talked to was delivering to a K-Mart store in AZ. He backed in and the store personnel yanked the pallets off.
Don't restrict yourself by just wanting to run regional or certain states. Take those long coast to coast runs.

Less hassle and better delivery times. With a reefer you'll often be loading or unloading in the middle of the night. If you want long distance work than Knight dry van won't be a good option because they're a medium haul company. The refrigerated side might be a better choice.
