The un-baffled high flow Donaldson M100463 mufflers are not any louder than stock IMO, not by much anyways... They are nothing like straight pipes which are way too loud.. As far as a W900 and the reverse flow mufflers go I would be trying to figure something that would eliminate that restriction. I would not wastemoney on a Pitts Power reverse flow muffler.

I just got two Walker Megaflows for a new FL glider truck, from Summit Racing, delivered to my door for a total cost (free shipping, $11.95 handling) of $241.85. That was the Walkers with 10" body. The Walkers with a 9" body would have been $211.85. (both prices quote are for two mufflers. If you only need one, divide that by 2).

As for the Walkers, they have a 90 day money back guarantee and a lifetime warranty. They are galvanized dipped on the ends and the weld seams.

Now for my truck I am getting rid of, a 2006 Intl 9400 that had the reverse flow muffler underneath, I just pulled it off, put on a resonator, then took 5" pipe and cut and welded it into a "u" back to the up pipe to the stacks. Has worked great for over 4 years.

Was that Canadian muffler made by Mac Industrial Exhaust? That's the last muffler you'll ever need to buy.

I put the Donaldsons on my Pete and it was actually quieter than the cheap mufflers I had on it before, both on acceleration and braking.

Hey Snowwy , J-J here good to see ya again. Thanks for asking the question I needed some options in this area too. Far as gauges go, I recently purchased a new Pyro for my KW just off ebay, it is made by Autometer same guys build gauges for the NASCAR boys. I noticed that they had boost gauges as well. I bought the Cobalt series, easy to install, works real well and I like the blue night lite background very easy to read in the dark. Mine came with easy instructions which was a bonus. Read the ads real close and several times to make sure its the one you really want. Hope that helps. See ya again on this side or the other one.

Freightliner (at least in central IL) carries the 100463 for right at $100 +/- too.
