my way that’s about a 2 hour drive and we have one car. So if my wife isn’t with me she’d have to come get me. Plus I’m not a fan of driving 2 hours each way every time I go home.

I appreciate everyone’s suggestions. I’m gonna discuss with my wife and see what she thinks our best options are. Hopefully we will get it squared away soon.

Watch when they’re hiring from Midway, that’s really close to you. It’s definitely worth it. I wish you the best!! I read the requirements it says nothing about DUI’S. I’m not exactly sure though.

So instead of starting a new thread I'm just going to resurrect this one.

The regional part isn't necessary, but still. I've been off the truck for a year going to school, but finances are finally catching up with me.

Really just looking for a company that doesn't have #### equipment, has a fridge, and has some kind of opti-idle or apu/epu with the latter preferred. Wife has to come with me from day 1. Would prefer not to be micromanaged, but honestly it is what it is at this point. Also hoping to be with a company that can survive the impending financial crisis.

I still live outside of Knoxville. I'm willing to do regional or OTR. I've got my tanker and doubles and triples, but no experience. I don't have hazmat, but I could get it for the right company. I've also got a passport and a TWIC. I'm not opposed to flatbed, but I don't know if I physically can do it. I've lost a lot of weight, but I'm just getting a little older and I don't know if my body will keep up.

I'm not working for Knight or any of the companies they own which I know rules out a lot of people. I'm also not interested in CR England or Werner or Prime. Not opposed to Megas, just not these people (research and personal experiences).

Crete is a no-go because apparently 2 jobs in the last 5 years is too many? I can't give you clarification because they wouldn't give me any.
Marten says they don't have any jobs in my area.
Magnum says I'm out of the hiring area.

I'm already looking at Beacon, Wel, and Averitt.

As always the help is greatly appreciated. Just trying to not hate my life going forward if at all possible.

    I think I'm between 2.5 to 3 years. I know for sure over 2.
I meant to put that. Read through it 3 times and knew I was forgetting something.
