An 18spd is the same as a 9spd. You just have the option to split a gear if you want.Bfr38 Thanks this.

Oh ok that makes sense! I drive a 13 speed like a 9 speed too when I drive one. I have been driving 9 and 10 speeds for years though. Straight 10's not the super 10's. Thanks again though I guess I wasn't thinking which is normal for me lol. Have a good rest of the week driver!
cetanediesel Thanks this. -
If you have a 9 or 10 speed, you'll want a 13 speed after you've shifted one for awhile.

As long as I will eventually remember what gear I'm in I would be fine lol. I forget sometimes when im in a straight 10 speed ha ha

I used to al the time as well. I would rather have a 9 speed.Bfr38 Thanks this.

Lol same here. When I drive a 9 speed a lot and then get into a 10 speed I forget to go over and down into 6th I always want to go straight back up. I have a hell of a time sometimes lol

That is the whole problem with the 10spdBfr38 Thanks this.

Yeah I like a 10 speed, but I would def rather have a 9 for sure! I don't mind shifting though. Lots of guys just like to use the button splitter etc... I use to drive a super 10 and to be honest I hated it.
feldsforever Thanks this.
