The units are sitting because you're not paying enough, what you think you're saving in transport, is costing you on the sales end. If you paid good, you might get a few carriers on a regular basis to take care of it instead of having to post the cars to be moved. People will go out of their way if the pay is good and you'll also have a better chance of getting better carriers.

I was trying to book a unit the other day and they said the customer wanted it done cheaper, I told them to let it sit and hung up. I'm not out here to be a charity.

Your "ideal employee" would have to be a retired or semi retired EXPERIENCED CAR HAULER. I say this because an EXPERIENCED car hauler is not going to even consider working for you if you don't have the volume to keep him BUSY. Second, an EXPERIENCED car hauler would not consider driving for you for 35-45 cpm. This comment is coming from an experienced car hauler of 13 years who was making 63 cpm loaded and 24 cpm empty and home 320 days out of the year. What Im trying to say is if I saw your job offer I would laugh at it. Like a previous member said, any driver can get what you are paying by pulling a van and just bumping a dock. No disrespect just giving my 2 cents worth.
