the only problem with Roehl for this location is just out of their regular hiring area. but they are a good company.
moose97 Thanks this. -
Well Hand Good Luck, I would hold off on the endorsements till you get to where you are going, I held off on mine till I found a company that needed it and then they paid for the endorsement, Save your money till at least till you move. These other guys can tell you who is hiring up there, don't get in a crazy bottom feeder company that will throw you in a truck and make you pay for the truck that they own. Don't do a flease on with anyone who controls the loads and how you run that truck.

I'm happy where I'm at now,but the last I looked we are in the middle area of non regular hiring.that was like 2yrs ago tho recruiter told me the same thing to keep checking back. the outfit I'm with now treats me really well.

thats cool, im actually looking to move south..texas maybe..michigan has gone downhill in 40 years and the weather so sucks. Roehl has been a great place to start out. Not gonna make you rich but a fair deal, great people, and they want you to suceed. Safety is also stressed. For someone new up north mite be worth a call. A driver could also commute to gary if he wanted to stay out a while and didnt mind the drive in and out.critters Thanks this.

your right about MI going down hill, that's why I drive for a company out of Zeeland.
goblue Thanks this. -
Why can't he or anyone else go get an endorsement if the job requires it? It's not like having an endorsement with zero experience is going to make you somehow more qualified or something. Hell, at the rate the FED is printing money I guess blowing your money is better today than trying to hold on to it and save it. Either way, you are going to be broke. So what the hell, get as many endorsements as you guys want and while you are at it, get me a couple of them too.

first off when you learn how things done they want them endorsements BEFORE you apply, otherwise they tend to toss the applications , part of trucking is being prepared.you can save your money sarcasm for some one else.Tonythetruckerdude Thanks this.

Dude...I don't know of anyone who is going to hire a driver without experience because he was dumb enough to spend his money on something he doesn't need or isn't qualified for. Maybe you would, I don't know. Nevertheless, I never would, but that's me and I'm not you. Hallelujah!
