Hi, I've been a trucker for a long time but I've been retired for the past few years. My neighbor is also a truck driver who is not so web-savvy as I so she asked me to help her find employment. I was surprised to hear that she can only drive an automatic!

We live 45 minutes north of Fort Worth, so a North Texas company is preferable. Does anyone know what all OTR companies run automatics? I could sure use a list to give to her.

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome to TTR. I believe that subject has been discussed a lot in the Questions from New Drivers forum, so you might want to spend some time reading through that. Or you could even post your question again in there if you don't find something.

Also, check out the Similar Threads links at the bottom of this page. And remember to look for those Similar Threads links at the bottom of the page in all of the threads about automatics.

Welcome to the forum! The post above mine (dogknot) offers some pretty good advice.
