I've driven all types too, but you shouldn't judge by appearance. I love the long nose with steers out front and seat on the floor! Just rides like on Cloud 9. Stacks blowing coal and jakes rocking ears!
Looking for comapnies with long hoods

It's good to have a longnose as long as the shifter is at least 5 feet high and there are no mufflers. I drove one for two years and I did like the dash and a few other things but the steering was kinda crappy and I always found it odd staring down a row of rivets. That clutch pedal was something else too, but it worked so there is that! I felt like I was in something from the 40's. Once you're used to them you trust them but they sure are different. I'm used to Ural trucks so I can live with anything I guess.

Where are you located?

Western Distributing has a bunch of hoods if you’re out west. I see them fairly often every time I’m west of Denver. Usually pulling reefers and see them at typical, no touch freight customers often.
