It is demanding at times but that is flatbed. Great company all together and they really care about the drivers. Plus no late night loading or unloading and no long waits like van/reefer.

With almost all big company trucks being governed, a speeding ticket should not be of concern
I know that they are doing it to help better fuel efficiency. Everything else, that can be a ball-and-toss situation. Thanks for that. That does seem to be the best method, I'd just like a decent company to transition into to, but beggars can't be choosers.

That's pretty awesome! Melton is on my list of companies to call, and they're up there! What kinda trucks do they run?
Thanks. -
Mostly KW T660 but a few cascades automatics in the mix. They are governed at 65 Mph. KW are 10 speeds like mine in my signature.

Thanks for the information, man! Is it all right if I shoot you a PM with a few more questions??

Sure go right ahead.

System Transport will hire right out of school. My son just got on there and is finishing orientation in Spokane, Wa. today. From what he has told me, he likes the people. Says they seem pretty down to earth and straight-forward. Now he comes home to Chicago to start his 7 weeks on the truck with his trainer
HauntedSchizo19 Thanks this. -
Thanks for that. I've been looking into System Transports a bit. Do you know if they hire in Southern/Downstate NY and/or in Northern PA? Thanks.
