Costing me 1600 a week no matter if they can find me a load or not + 20% of gross.

I can go get a truck, it's not driving or backing that's killing the industry. It's the brokers not wanting to pay.

Most of those companies won't take me till 2026 because I broke contract from crst back in 2016. They wouldn't hire me, so I went to another company. Now I'm just having trouble getting hired even though I have 1 ticket (seat belt) / no accidents on my record.

I can do the miles, I just want to be paid fairly without the company taking a huge chunk of the pay. I'd rather be a company driver at that point.

How or why in the world did they add another $2,000 in fees? Did they divulge exactly what the additional fees were for? Maybe they expected you to pay that other drivers (who left the truck at the truck stop) payment for that week?

You broke contract with CRST, who wouldn't hire you, in 2016? Or did I miss something in other posts?

Do you know exactly what is reported on your DAC? They're subject to the FCRA just as any other credit/consumer reporting agency is. So you could try to dispute anything that is inaccurate.

I recovered a truck for them and their accounting hasn't given back the money they took from me. I'd be 2k+ in profit right now if it wasn't for accounting error. They said it's "automatically deducted". Which it should've been deducted off the guys check that abandoned the truck, not me.

Regardless, I'm staying another week here to get another paycheck as my next paychecks grossed 9-10k. We're good weeks. The moment I get off the truck they stop sending me pay and keep 2 weeks worth of pay for 2 months.

Automatically deducted? They had to change something on their end for that to be deducted from your pay. But they are giving it back?

The moment you get off the truck they keep 2 weeks worth of pay for 2 months? You meaning like when you go home?

You're in a lease right? I'd talk to an attorney about truth in leasing regs. Sure seems like the regs aren't being followed, namely, that you have to be paid no more than two weeks from turning in paperwork for the work you do. If they're paying you in those 2 weeks though may be nothing to it, unless they have a practice of paying weekly and they're just doing it strictly to inconvenience you. Doesn't sound like a good place to be that's for sure.

According to them the charge is taken off by accounting automatically. They never returned it and never responded back when they would.

I'm finally able to get out of the truck Friday after still running more miles for a company that won't pay me. I hope they'll pay my return flight as I'm not quitting I'm taking a break to see my grandfather. They've already screwed me over and expected me to quit that's why they've tacked on so many fees to inconvenience me making me rely on them having to live longer in the truck than supposed to.

Been out here 3 months with 70k miles on this truck with 3 positive paychecks totaling no more than 1.5k (less now)
Any other company I'd have 20k, maybe some less. Avg 4-5k mi per week with some weeks 5.5k+.
Doing crazy work for almost no pay.

    Siinman Thanks this.
