Looking for Feedback on Raven Transport

Thanks for info. I am scheduled for orientation on 12/01/09. Hope everything is still good there.

 

What kind of weekly miles are you all getting at Raven? Do they take owner ops?

 

I just filled out an application on there website (this is the only way they take applications) They wont take faxed applications! Must be filled out online.
I filled it out on Thursday and talked w/ them and they were very upfront and professional...They called me back Friday morning and offered me the job....Very thural and quick...I took the local position running Maxwell House at night 5 day job..I'm looking forward to working w/ them.
I know they asked me if I wanted OTR and I would have taken it but I just want to be local for now....
If you're asking about O/O they do that too... .97 cents per mile..
I will keep you guys updated on my progress and try to answer any questions in the near future...

They have an opening right now for nights on a local run in Jacksonville,FL.
It's from 18:00-06:00 5 days a week in a day cab....ALL DROP AND HOOK!!!
The pay is not the best but the job is not that hard eather..$880.00 a week.
I have to say' I worked for Interstate out of Tacoma,WA. for 5 years and that was a GR8 company B4 the economy tanked and now they are like all the other big guys...They just don't care about the drivers anymore (what a shame) They were once so GR8!!!!
I am on my 2ND day in orientation and have spoke to everyone there and have not found one single complaint!!!! NO KIDDING!!!!!
The staff pulls no punches,They seem very fair and 85% of them are all ex drivers!!
The equipment is 2ND to none....You will not find any better unless you go buy it yourself and order the top of the line model Pete 387 or Volvo 780.
I will be driving a day cab witch is also nice..They almost have no turnover
and the only reason there are limited openings is they have picked up some new and very good business....

Do they have the pre hire stress test that a lot of companies are doing now. Do they run teams?
