Looking for help for brother in-law

Hi All,
I am happy to have found your site. I was checking on a pile up in Ohio yesterday as friends were traveling through when I came across your site in the google results. I was really happy to see it as I have been helping my sister and her husband and wanted to find a way to contact truckers to see if they could direct me in how to help them. So I think it was meant to be that I found your site. Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction.

I am not a trucker, my brother in-law was. He stopped working about a year or so ago when he could no longer work. He has been diagnosed with a rare lung disease that is honeycombing his lungs and he is in the process of getting a lung transplant. You can read about Joe and my sister on their website. I have listed it in my profile info but do not want to post it here as I am not certain that is allowed, and I want to respect the members and rules.

I am looking for advice as how I might contact organizations that support truckers to see if I can't get some help for Joe's medical needs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I know truckers can move mountains if they want to and I am hoping they will be the answer to Joe and Teena's prayers.
