I'm going to guess they don't move around much. From what I've seen, calves are born and raised and milked on farm usually.

It is not an easy thing to get into. Sell Barns, Contact Some of the companies that pull cows/bulls to meat packing plants, talk to local ranchers or those in surrounding states. There are companies who hire O/O to pull Bull racks for them. Unless you are a rancher, packing plant, know someone who is already pulling bull racks, and so forth it is not easy.

Have you any experience with hauling livestock? If NO. You need to talk to some livestock haulers first before deciding to do this. This is a different animal (no pun meant) compared to reefer, dry van, flatbed, or other loads.

Your location is not stopping you one bit. In fact it may turn out to be a blessing.Do some research on slaughter houses and feed lots. I dont and nevwr have hauled cattle. But i no where the half a cow and two pigs we get every year comes from.

Yup I just looked at the latest report from nebpi.org. If say someone has to do it and no one really wants to run north or Baltimore or east if Penn. So that "might" put a driver from nh in demand. But as my wife will tell ya. I don't no squat, so i could be wrong.

Lots of guys to pull for down that way. 4-M/Mercer, all the Florida companies. Go to Livetocknetwork.com and go through the help wanted ads. Anymore if someone has a couple trailers sitting you can go to work without any livestock experience.
