Better jump on that. They took over Beam Bros' routes and I had been chasing Beam Bros for three weeks when I found THAT out. Now I've been chasing Eagle for another month or so because apparently the position I want hasn't been added to their listings on their website. Ergo, I can't complete the online application.
Sent a message from the website, no reply. Called the number, left a message, no reply. Got a number from one of Beam Bros' drivers in the middle of the transition phase (he seemed pretty happy with things for the moment) for a direct line to a bubble-headed bleach-blond in the office who informed me that I'd have to put in an online application.
When I explained the the position I was putting in for wasn't listed, she simply says, "We probably just haven't listed it yet, you'll have to keep checking back." Lady, I need a job NOW, not when some idiot decides to get around to listing a position taken over from another company. So if you've been offered a job with Eagle, I'd take it. At least you're being OFFERED the job, I can't even APPLY for the one I want.
Maybe, though, that's reason enough not to bother... You pays your money, and you takes your chances.
Looking for info on Eagle Express Lines.

I am guessing the job you want was originally part of Beam Bros ? Here's what I would do. Go ahead and fill in an online ap with Eagle, doesn't matter which one, just pick from the area you live in. At least you get your foot in the door and the process rolling. Then find the route/contract number on the run you were trying to get on and let me know. I can get you (maybe) a direct line to the person running that contract
king v and Call_Me_The_Breeze Thank this. -
Well, I heard a rumor that Ursa is actually owned
by another member of Wayne's family.
The rumor was started by a truck driver, so take it with a grain of salt -
The only thing close listed is Mt Crawford PT Floater. I'm looking for a specific FT route. I could try that, though, I suppose -

If you go to the website with the job listings, each job description has a contact name and a phone number for the contract manager. try giving them a call

So did you go ahead and take that run ?
