Apparently, there are several of these freight lanes to avoid. How does one go about avoiding them?

I looked at these guys before I went with my current employer. Everything was good till they told me I would start at either .34 or .36 cents a mile after I finished choking told them I wouldn't be working for that. See their trucks often very nice, hope it works out for you.

Day 2 of orientation was much less involved than Day 1. We went over the handbook, benefits, and all of the company specific stuff. We didn't get our trucks until today. They gave me a choice between a Cascadia and a t700, and I chose the t700. My First load is a juice load up to Wal Mart in VA, but doesn't deliver until Friday evening. Since the load is already on the yard, I opted to come home tonight, and I'll run it up there tomorrow.
I don't blame you. 24 years in the industry and you could probably do much better. -
Got up to VA without issue, and have a load picking up in NC tomorrow morning. Delivers Mon morning in Lakeland, FL. I'll be there tomorrow night, so I'm going to see if I can drop the load at the Dover yard and keep going.

Miles for last week: 1686
Miles for this week: 1120 (after I deliver Friday morning)
Friday is my last day.
Start with Western Flyer Express on Monday.
If you are sitting there saying to yourself "Man! This guy job hops a lot!" Then you're right. I will not stay with a company that won't even give me 2,000 miles/week, promised me a 68mph truck that won't even do 65 and they won't fix it. The people are nice, but the miles aren't there. This would be a great company for people that don't want to run very hard. See ya!!xlsdraw Thanks this. -
They suck all they told you is a lie you won't get the miles to qualify for ins. they will ding your DAC no matter how much notice you give. RUN far far away!!!!!!
xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Everything they told you about the miles is a lie!!!!!!
xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Just depends on your dispatcher

Not in my experience. The dm's have no authority over miles. When I talked to the about it, they'd kinda throw their hands up in the air. The problem with them is that the planners don't know how to properly schedule loads with elogs. They plan the loss with way too much time, and it screws the drivers.xlsdraw Thanks this.
