when i was there and i had cindy as a dm i loved it she is probably the best dispatcher i ever had then they pulled all her drivers from her and she went to strictly planning loads and other stuff for them she would keep u running

I have worked for Lessors for 3 months now. Been driving a truck 13 years.
The equipment is mostly well maintained. They have mostly fixed 5th wheels and like to run as much weight as possible on steers. Apu, inverters were good. Most trucks run on low side of 67, i saw 66mph more on gps.
Dispatchers have very little power other then to relay messages and issue Tchecks. This is were problem lies.
They wait until you deliver to start working on your next load. I sit between 1 to 2 days average between loads.
The planners seem to have poor foresight. I do every thing sent to me and get it their on time and in good shape. I am quiting these guys in July. I have brought this issue all the way up chain and did no good. I am out of Dover but did manage to get them to keep me out of se were sitting is worse. 1 decent check to 3 bad ones a month is not worth it.
I read threads with this papa murphy fella, which is why i came here. He seemed legit. Only thing i can say is he must have a gold star next to his name stating he gets priority loading cause i never saw the good loads and dispatching he constantly talks about!!

    Kennyworth67 and xlsdraw Thank this.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. But three months? You barely got the seat warm enough for them to see what kind of runner you are.

I use to work w Heyl Truck Line out of Zephyrhills, FL. Lessors is a better company If you work hard 10 hrs rest, 9 driving 10 rest, around the clock. If you can't drive overnight don't bother to come to work here, but if you really know how to work hard, I guess you understand what I mean by that you'll make money but if you like to complain about 11$$ detention pay, wear away your DM with small things you won't get loads, plain and simple. I am making 1200, 1300 a week, but I hassle myself if you get a load get it, and shut up. You may last here if you have a lot of common sense.

If you can't drive overnight, then you don't know how to work hard? That's a narrow-minded view.

No, I guess I am the $27/hr guy who sees his wife and kids every night. Keep ASSuming.

Aren't you the wise one telling people how to work hard by criticizing those who don't do what you say. What a stud.
