I'll agree with this. I've been in LTL almost my entire career, minus 6 years spent in OTR heavy haul.
I never had a year where I made under 60,000. Now I'm 33 years old, and I drive for the post office. I'm the youngest driver at my DC, because of my back round in LTL. The average driver at my DC is in their 50s, so needless to say, customers do a double take when they see me.
Im not going to stop at driving either. Within the next 10 years, I'm planning on becoming one of the youngest Postmasters at the post office.
Im currently going to school for a bachelors in business management, which my employer is paying 30% of my tuition.
