I am planning to go work for Schneider for the first time in my life.

I see Schneider National has a Jet Set Walmart account. When a driver returns from home time? Do they still have the same truck? Or do they swap you out to what ever is available?

Otherwise I am thinking of going just plain truck driver. I would like to be able to bring the truck home for my time off.

You will go into any open truck, then run that truck for 3 weeks before flying home. When you come back, you go into an open truck. If the same truck is available , great. Chances whoever ran it during your home time is still in it.

You may fly into a different dc as well.

Yeah that was my concern. So I may as well go with the Truck Driver | Paid CDL Refresher Program. At least then I can bring it home. I realize home time will be iffy.

you mean park it a sni approved location that you find and submit the info on. unless your property has the room.

still needs approved though and will only be if you live far enough away from an established parking location.

Yeah, honestly, I'd have to be pretty desperate to do this. 3 weeks. Slip seat with whomever. Tote my stuff back and forth. No thanks. The 3 weeks and slip seating would be a deal breaker for me

Probably why they seem so desperate to get drivers
