Looking for local work in Charlotte, NC

    I have been driving OTR for 1 1/2 years with about 2 months van and the rest flatbed and occasionally curtainside. Looking for a 9-5 around town. Tired of being away from home and the wife and kids. Plus I want to head back to school to finish getting my BA and being OTR makes doing online very hard.
    I am certified for doubles/triples, tankers, hazmat. How does one go about finding local routes? Using the web to find jobs seems like such a waste of time unless you know what company you are looking for. I just have no idea who does what or who they are.

    Anyone in the Charlotte area know of anyone hiring local drivers?
