Yes and you could do a google search for driving jobs near your hometown or even Indy
-
when you go on craigslist type MAIL in the search box, usually mail contractors post their openings on there and they usually pay decent and are gravy runs. i wouldn't suggest it for long term as we know with email it has declined but if you need somthin to get you by, usually retired drivers do them because they are easy, get you home and pay good. i just looked it up in your area and there was a run goin to cinci posted back in dec, they usually don't last long. one came up in my area recent but they had it covered. its been awhile but i worked for a contractor awhile back but i ended up moving good luck. and they usually have older equip but they keep it running. maybe someone else can chime in on it.

Fremont Contract Carriers out of Fremont, NE doing their Midwest stuff. I have been with them for over 8 years. All I do is back and forth from Nebraska to Indiana/Ohio with occasional runs into IL, MN, WI, MI and MO. Home every weekend, holiday, and off for 2-3 weeks a year. A great customer base that doesn't mess with the drivers. Lots of drop and hook. Dry box stuff. This last week, did 2 loads of seed corn out of Plymouth IN back to Nebraska and one load of pet food from Crete, NE to Ashley, IN and a load of BD Medical from Columbus, NE to Plainfield, IN (Indy area). Have no desire to go with any other outfit. I own my truck, but Mike's company trucks are pretty good. Late model Volvo 780's and FL Cascadias mostly. All with APU's, inverters, etc. Very well maintained equipment and some great customers.

Check out Venture Logistics based out of Indianapolis. They have a lot of accounts in the state. I'm sure they have local and regional that can get you to and through the house at least weekly if not nearly every day.
