All of our equipment is paid for, we run 2 older model trucks and trailers. It is just me and my brother, very low overhead. The loads coming back have nothing to do with the rate on the front haul, I dont run like that. It needs to be profitable whether I have loads coming back to the area or not. That is the tricky part. I should be meeting with the manager tonite so we will see what happens. Thanks guys

Didn't read the other replies, but because it's convenient...$2.50/mile for all miles, $50/hr to wait, $500/day minimum......somethin' like that.

Appreciate all the replies. Did some figuring last night and the shorter runs up to 50 miles all seem to pay about $3 a mile all miles and the longer ones are around $2.30-$2.50. I can easily gross $750-$800 on 300 miles or less a day and still reload for the next morning and be home by 5 or 6pm. Some of their mileages are off but I can fix those I believe. I think I am going to give this a whirl, things will be starting up in a few weeks. Thanks again guys
