Krashdragon, I wanted to ask for an update on the WIA you applied for. I live near you in Decatur TX and have applied for WIA as well. They gave a lot of information in the Adult WIA Orientation. Sounded like they have money but you must follow every step and every requirement filling out every form correctly to the letter crossing every T and doting every I or your out of the program. The program takes about six to eight weeks from start to finish. It did sound like they push for you to get back into the same occupation you have experience in before letting you to go to school. I noticed today on the Weatherford College Website that they have Workforce Coordinators at the following link https://www.wc.edu/workforce. They may be able to guide someone through the process. I am contacting them now.

I want to attend the Weatherford College Truck Driving Academy. Main office is at the Weatherford College in Weatherford Texas. The contact over the Truck School is Bubba Swearingin, 940-328-1074, bswearingin@wc.edu at the following website link: http://www.wc.edu/certificates-programs/truck-driver-academy. The Truck Academy is actual held in Mineral Wells Texas. They say the have a Truck Academy in Decatur Texas but they will not hold a class in Decatur unless they have four or more students who want to attend school in Decatur. The school is part of the WIA program.
