    Perhaps not, but there are significant differences between owner operators and lease operators -- the later probably being closer to a company driver than an independent...


    PS: I thinking dredging up 3-week old snarkiness is a greater faux pas than the original act itself.

    I am sure you are correct about a lease operator being totally different- the OP's question could be answered without the distinction being made, however (exclamation points def not needed). Dredging up snarkiness, of any age, is delightful and can be never be passed on.

    That being said, I didn't realize the comment was so old.

    ya it was he is simply not a owner operator he got a truck thru a company he is working for
    he don't pay for anything on his own now does he?
