Lots of mormon mafia companies (its a joke) in SLC and along I-15. Larry H Miller, CR England, Mountainwest Milk, Andrus, Gurney careful with that last one.

    Try this.

    Best trucking companies in Utah

OTR companies Actually in Vegas? I don't know of many except Truline. I heard bad things about Rushline Hauling from a driver that got stiffed out of 18 days of pay by the owner.

    Very short sighted.

I have been with Swift for 13 years. Not a bad company to work for.
In fact, around 40% of the drivers in my terminal are million (+) mile drivers with Swift, which equates to at least 8-10 years.
We don't stay because we have no other options.

There's approx. a dozen or two dozen that hire new drivers from Las Vegas/Henderson.
Some have terminals or drop yards in Las Vegas/Henderson.
Knight Transportation has a terminal in Las Vegas.
Go Pony Express has an office in Henderson.
Plenty more, but no use listing them because he's already applied and been rejected from what he posted.

He claims he will work for any company but Western Express. I guess he will just be sitting there til the cows come home because if he really wanted to drive, he'd take whatever offer, and hit the road. So many new guys will create threads with the same question thinking that there are companies that haven't already been mentioned dozens of times. The time he spent on here, he could have been 6 months in by now. To be inexperienced, and that choosy, nobody's gonna help him. The mods may as well shut this thread down.

A large carrier like Swift offers many BIG advantages to a new driver who's just getting started.

Don't let all the Swift jokes scare you off. As indicated above -- there are A LOT of experienced, competent drivers with Swift as well.

The cold, hard truth: the CDL job market for new(er) drivers is so bad right now -- you need to take what you can get. :(

Personally, I don't look for this CDL job market to change anytime soon.
