I saw the KLLM website and it says they pay CDL tuition reimbursement up to $5,000. Does anyone know how this works?

Only after you have been with them for a year will they start the tuition reimbursement checks.

KLLM was better in the days when they had the blue FLD's and Vernon Sawyer had the green FLD's,,,,,,,Fresh Express is the name of the game if you are a team....runs to Salina,CA....Watsonville,CA and Yuma are great for teams....but since the sellout....and going to intertrashinals for tractors...I fear for the worst...but for a beginner....a good place to be....a taste for all 48 states for sure.

i was looking at this company also. i've heard alot about having to wait with reefers but if you opt for the percentage pay instead of miles wouldn't it all workout for the better even with the wait. Plus you get detention pay right?

Im thinking of going with KLLM as a team driver with a buddy of mine.
Has anyone worked as a team driver with KLLM?
If so, what are the team miles like? How many do you average per week?
Thanks for any more info on this company....

Heres some info on the tuition reimbursment...
The recruiter over the phone told me that they start the reimbursment after you finish the training at 150.00/month, then after a year, they will cut you a check for the remainder of the tuition. He also said that the ONLY way to get tuition reimbursment is to have a HAZMAT endorsement. The recuiter also said that KLLM reimburses the HAZMAT fee.BigJon310 Thanks this.
