Only thing that I have heard about them is that if your idle percentage is too high, they will charge you to offset the fuel costs. Other than that, they are a reefer outfit with a terminal in my state FL. I think they are out of the northwest though, a lot of trailers at MillerCoors plants.

I'm heading to their Phoenix, AZ orientation on Oct. 1 so I will give you an update after that, provided you haven't picked a company by then. Out of my options (May, Western Express, Navajo Express, CRE, and CRST) I picked May due to what they offer (check out their website) and their CSA/BASIC scores. With only a 4.4% on the HOS violations I saw a company that doesn't push drivers to go beyond what they are legally allowed to log and 26.1% on the Unsafe Driving indicated to me that the unsafe driving was due to drivers going beyond their means or trying to get more loads and miles than they should have. May has only had "compliance reviews" and the last one came in 1995 which means they must be doing something right.

HDS and Navajo are both small companies servicing the South west.

Suptrkr Thanks this. -
Number one, where do you live!!!
-
Originally from Illinois, in Arizona for the most part,
but willing to relocat -
What kind of driving are you looking for, yard drop/load/unload/etc? Type of preferred company depends on what kind of driver you are. Some guys sit behind the wheel real good, some like to get out more than others and do some work to stay active.

If you in Phx area or close there is no reason to relocate.... unless you want too
my Guesses would be Melton for flatbed, May seems good, knight Ref.
And i do know someone who drove for CR Eng for 3 years and loved it- but i still wouldn't recommend it -
OTR just want to hook and go and drop and go, and learn what I can
