I almost got a free meal at McDonald's because the lady behind the register was convinced I was Penn from Penn and Teller. No worries, I get that a lot, usually a few times a week. Got the height, got the hair, got the build. The only thing lacking...I don't know any magic tricks! :biggrin_25524: What Penn would be doing at a Love's outside Chattanooga TN at 2am I have no idea but I guess to her it seemed possible.

Anyway, hi! I'm Sequoia because I'm so bleepin' tall. I've got 2 years OTR experience. I've driven on snow. I've driven on ice. I've driven through the mountains. I've chained/unchained. I've loaded trailers. I've unloaded trailers. I've restacked half a trailer full of PowerAde because the guys in Chicago said it was my responsibility....welcome to trucking. lol

Had to take some time off to take care of my parents who are getting up there in age. Trying to get back into the industry but with a year hiatus it's kind of difficult. Oh I live in FL too. That's another strike against me in trying to find a job.

..and yes I really do look like Penn from Penn and Teller.

Yup, the tall guy with the pony tail and glasses.

Oddly, at 6'5" I have this weird ability to sneak up behind people, which if you think about it doesn't sound like it would happen at all but it does!

p.s. I'm working on learning a few quick magic tricks now. :)

    Les2 and scottied67 Thank this.

There is no loves just outside of Chattanooga.... In fact there are no major truck stops except for a rattle trap pilot with in spitting distance of Chattanooga....

You must be talking about the Loves in Charleston, TN... 40 miles from Chattanooga.

Well after waiting and waiting and waiting for my last company to fax employment verification I'm finally booked and scheduled to start orientation with Celadon. It's gonna be cold up in Indianapolis! Luckily the terminal isn't near the Indy truck stops. Oh how I miss hearing the CB chatter at those Indy truck stops. Never did try that restaurant across from the Pilot....
