Mostly drop & hook?
Try Fremont Contract Carriers.

So how bad is trucking? It's never normal...lol....but it is kinda normal for this time of year slow. By summer of '25, it could be booming. It may not.
As far as experience, most companies want at least 6 months in the last 3 years. If you don't, either they won't hire you or you'll have to go out with a trainer. Yes, even if you have 20 years experience. Now will that training be the 3 months? Doubtful, maybe a week or 2. But I would definitely get on indeed and look for trucking companies in your area and give them a call. You never know... -
From my experience and that of a friend of mine, I can say that Aki Logistics is great. It's OTR, the loads are well-paid, they send full rate cons, and they are honest, which is rare

Speedy356, TruckDriver87, Kyle G. and 2 others Thank this. -
Why? Is it strange to you that someone leaves a good review somewhere? You people are so used to speaking with hate. Maybe you should reflect on where you’re going wrongNumb Thanks this.

1099 drivers can't afford to fix a truck if it requires more than duct tape or zip ties.Last edited: Dec 30, 2024

I'm not in a brand new truck, but I'm making pretty good money so I'm satisfied
