they did when i went to o&s and even better when i landed the local job and now i know i work 0700-1630 and clear $1485 every 2 weeks with zero hassle and none of the expense of living on the road

Do you have experience? Which division you want? Depending on freight and how you run your truck. If you go reefer NE regional you may not get as many miles, but they pay more per mile. Im doing great here in the year+ Ive been here. IF youre willing to run, you can make money. If you dont have experience DO NOT LEASE. Running company maynot have the freedoms, but you dont have to worry about being in the hole either. Unless you take a lot of advances.

$400 a week on the lease side? Sorry man, that's pitiful... your FM was right. I was comparing notes with an O&S guy a couple of months ago... he worked twice as hard as I do, and brought in about the same as one of our company guys.

I think I'll keep my deal too... on the Prime lease side. BTW, the O&S guy figured that he was getting a raw deal compared to what my deal is.

 

IP he said $400 over 2months i think thats worse than every wk something was seriously wrong there.....i like my deal too would like it more minus the heavy loads haha

 

Ohhh... that's really bad! You have to be a major leadfoot to do THAT poorly! Heck... his $1485 (prolly before taxes) every TWO weeks is what I call ONE good week.
