First time I visited, new it was time to join. I've been in trucking since 1981. Started out w/parking lot and have hauled about anything you can get behind a truck. Main problem I've had is finding a company that stands behind what they say and advertise. I found myself switching jobs to often which has caused a problem with companies wanting to hire me. I have worked for nine companies in the past three years leaving them due to unsafe equipment, low miles, or a combination of both. Right now I'm forced to return to a company I've worked for previously, due to my problem with job stability, in hope that they may have made some positive changes.
After checking out this forum, I've found it to be a great source of info. Very happy to find and join such an informative site.

Hi, everybody! I am new to this forum. Wanted to introduce myself and say that this seems to be a cool place to hang out and chat. I have already read and gotten involved in several discussions- and I have really been enjoying myself.
A little about me- I am not a rookie, but I am no expert. Have been a driver for a little over three years now, (and still have a whole career's worth of learning to do).
But I love what I do- and I can't imagine doing anything else. Thanks to all of you that have made me feel welcome since I joined the discussions! Be safe out there, everybody. Nice getting a chance to talk with some of you (I think my family and friends think I am crazy, because they just can't understand why I could love fifth wheel grease and the smell of diesel...... but I know I am in good company here)!
