Glad to hear that you're finally getting your truck. -
Its about time!!! Good for you Ridgerunner. I am sure that you are immediately going to like the comforts of the new Truck. Stay safe out there!
-
Sorry to see this RR. Combined has not been on us for passports yet...guess we will if we have to but they have plenty of guys that go up there i think.
Maybe check with Combined and see what they have to offer...since you do have exp and all. They hire from East Coast...and if you do tell them Bo sent ya. -
I'm still with Maverick tootie....that little deal with the passport worked itself out.
-
Oh good!! I enjoy reading your thread....but you need to post more pics....and you REALLY need to post pics of new truck. We just got a new truck with Combined and it is really nice. The sleeper is a bit small but since I escort the truck full time we have the van to keep overflow in. I hope you keep this thread going there RR!!

Our trucks look just like all the other Maverick trucks...but there are a few differences.
We have Air Weigh on the trucks (not trailers)...this is a fancy set of weight gauges, similar to the old oil filled gauges...but with a digital readout.
Bigger headache racks...fully enclosed.
Duals...super singles aren't legal for overweight loads.
A yellow rotating light on top.
FEI program set at 6.1 MPG...because there is no way we can get the 6.5 MPG to get above the "cutoff" (62 vs 65 mph), I have my doubts about being able to stay above 6.1 MPG...but I agreed to give it my best shot.
Taller 5th wheel...to keep the RGN trailers from dragging the ground.
5th wheel ramps....to be able to get under the RGN's.
Small box mounted to the frame for carrying tire chains.
Flag holders mounted to the front fenders.
Quarter fenders.
Other than that....they are the same. -
I was wondering what that box on the frame was....they look like nice trucks.
-
Yeah...they stuck it under the headache rack...but it can be lowered enough to use...I think.
