PA musky, you will hear good and bad about all frac companies. The oilfield is goofy. You may have work one day and get kicked off location the next. Good thing is with little experience you can go to any of the companies. Frac hands come and go. The work itself is simple. The hours is what gets most. 14-16 hours per day in all weather. 12 hours on location, the rest is commuting back and forth and getting ready at shop. You will not get alot of sleep. #### good money though.

You will not drive much at all. I usually drive under 500 miles per month. You are on same location for weeks at a time. Frac Tech has their own sand hauling division. You could apply for that if you want to drive more.

PA Musky, all I ask is that you're a confident driver when it comes to the weather. I passed a Frac Tech guy this afternoon on 70W, granted the weather had set in pretty good but he posed a danger traveling no more than 35 mph while traffic was still able to safely operate at 55mph or more. I understand that everyone has to get their start, but when they endanger not only themselves, but the lives of the other traveling public it might be time to step back and re-evaluate what you're doing.

I have no doubt you'll excel, but take what you learn and pass it on to some of the other not so confident guys Frac Tech is currently employing.

Do you happen to know roughly what they pay their sand haulers?
