Loss of power steering

    This has happened twice now while backing a trailer. Loss of power steering ONLY to the left. Turns ok while rolling but still with some resistance. So far if I crank all the way left while rolling, the last couple turns being harder, the problem has gone away. Is my steering box on the way out?

    Power steering fluid level? Kinked hose? Belt slipping?

    The P/S steering filter is in the p/s fluid can buy a new filter and a gal of oil take off the lower line and drain all you can with filler cap off, take off top of with center bolt take out old filter and clean the bottom of can put new filter and top it off , run eng and ck if it needs top off and you should be good?
